An origami business card holder is fun to make, even if you're a novice paper folder. Make a holder to display your own business cards or to corral cards you've collected from a conference. If you don't have any business cards, you can use the holder to organize the credit cards or store membership cards taking up extra space in your wallet.
To make an origami business card holder, start with a piece of letter sized paper and fold the top edge up to meet the bottom edge. Fold the top flap back down to meet the bottom edge, creasing well. Unfold, flip, and repeat on the other side.
Fold a small amount down on the top edge. Flip over and do the same on the other side.
Fold the top corners down, so they meet at the middle crease mark. Flip over and do the same on the other side.
Bring the top flap down as shown in the photo. Flip over and repeat.
Open your origami business card holder like a book, with the folded flaps underneath. Fold up the bottom edge as shown.
Fold the top edge down to meet the bottom edge. Tuck the corners inside the corners of the flap underneath.
Fold in half along the middle crease. Add stickers or lettering if you desire extra embellishment for your origami business card holder. For more easy origami projects, check out the LoveToKnow Origami slideshows Simple Heart Origami Bookmark and How to Make Origami Photo Frames.
